Here’s something I figured out this week. Instinct isn’t just an app on my phone. A lot of the programs I use have a website I can log into, and Instinct can work inside many of them the same way I do.

Truck tracking
Our trucks are tracked with GPS software that has a web login. I gave Instinct access and asked when the next oil change was due on one of the trucks. It went in, found the vehicle, and came back with the answer and the current mileage.
Then I had it set up geofences around our new job sites, copying the way I normally set them up, so I get an alert when a truck leaves a site.
Crew schedules
We also use Trello for our daily crew schedule. Every morning I copy the day before’s board, give it the new date, keep it private while I finish my edits, share it with the right people, star it so it shows up in my favorites, and move anybody who’s off. It only takes me about two minutes, but it’s two minutes every single day.
I walked Instinct through my process and it made tomorrow’s board for me, following all of my instructions.
The point
That’s the part that’s amazing to me. I didn’t have to learn a new program. It’s working inside the ones I already use.
